On Monday February 8, we started the week off with a visit from the Olympic Mascots. Next Monday February 15, we will be having our "Opening Ceremony" with a torch run on the track outside. We would like everyone to wear their Canada or Red & White clothing for this day. Beginning on Tuesday February 16 and throughout the Olympics, each of the classes will be taking part in various activities based on some of the Olympic events. We look forward to wrapping up our celebration with a "Closing Ceremony" on March 5. AN IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARENTS If your child(ren) will not be attending school during the Olympics, parents are asked to send a note to the classroom teacher indicating the dates of absence. This will inform staff and assist the Safe Arrival volunteers. Thank you for your help.
